FREMONT — The City of Fremont has scheduled its 2022 City-Wide Garage Sale from June 24 to June 26. No permit will be required for residents during this weekend. Residents are asked to call or e-mail Sarah in the Office of Engineering and Zoning, at [email protected] or 419-334-8963, in order to register their garage sales.

The cutoff for registration will be June 22 and the list will be made available to the public on June 23. Be reminded that signage for sales are not permitted to be placed in the city right of way.

Terra State to host KidsCollege

FREMONT — Terra State Community College will be hosting KidsCollege from July 18 to July 21 on campus.

KidsCollege is designed for students entering first through eighth grade and offers classes in arts, fitness, food, foreign language, science, technology and more. Students have the opportunity to sign up for a maximum of four classes during the day, and each class is one hour and 10 minutes long. Morning and afternoon classes are available. More information and a class catalog are available at Terra.edu/KidsCollege.

“For almost three decades, KidsCollege at Terra State Community College has served more than 4,700 students in first through eighth grade, and we are ecstatic to be returning this year. Seeing the next generations of families attending this amazing summer program for kids and their excitement always brings joy to all those involved in this wonderful program,” said Holly Hoffman, coordinator of workforce and community education.

Supervised lunch is available for students registered for all-day programming. Students are required to check in when they arrive for the day or when they return from leaving campus. Students must be picked up at the same entrance no later than 15 minutes after the end of the scheduled session.

Registration for KidsCollege can be completed online at learn.terra.edu, via email at [email protected], by phone at 419.559.2255, by mail to Terra State Community College, ATTN: KidsCollege, 2830 Napoleon Road, Fremont, 43420, or in-person at the Kern Center in the General Technologies Building (Building B) on campus. A registration form can be found at the back of the class catalog.
