Bank Exam in India
In India, the Banking sector is considered one of the most attractive avenues of job. The banking industry provides employment to a large number of people. The largest Bank in India is State Bank of India, which conducts its own PO, SO and Clerk examination. The other most popular Bank exam in India is the IBPS PO exam. IBPS stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection. It conducts PO, SO and Clerk exams. These exams are conducted to recruit c
andidates for various Public Sector Banks. There are around 16 Public Sector Banks participating in the process.

IBPS PO exam is made up of 3 stages. IBPS PO Preliminary exam, IBPS PO Mains Exam, and Interview. The preliminary exam is usually made up of Objective type questions. Mains exam is also made up of Objective type questions, in addition, there will be a Descriptive paper on English. Candidates will have to write an essay topic and it will be for a duration of 30 minutes. Candidates clearing the above process will have to go through a Personal Interview round.
Candidates who wants to build a career in Banking will have to seriously undergo rigorous training to clear the Bank exam. IBPS exam is one of the toughest Bank exams. Hence it is advisable for candidates to undergo as many IBPS Mock test as possible. The number of applicants appearing for this Bank exam is in Lakhs, and the number of candidates clearing it is a few thousand due to limited vacancies every year. Hence the pass percentage is very minuscule. All these factors make it imperative that a serious candidate who is looking forward to clearing the exam will have to attempt as many IBPS Mock tests as possible. Apart from exams conducted by SBI and IBPS, there are exams conducted by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). The major exams conducted by RBI is for RBI Officer Grade B exam, for the selection of mid-senior level officers of the Bank. The recruitment is done for General cadre and the Specialist cadre of RBI, which also includes research positions for Ph.D. holders in the notified disciplines. RBI Officer Grade C exam is for contractual officers in certain specializations.
RBI also recruits Engineers for handling RBI facilities. They recruit candidates for this position having a Civil Engineering background
