According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, The Gunners are preparing the opening bid for Jesus. Manchester City wants around £50m to sell the forward, even if his current deal won’t be extended.

Marquinhos set to sign

Arsenal have agreed to sign Sao Paulo winger Marquinhos for a fee in the region of £3million, football.london understands. The 19-year-old will join the club this summer after extensive talks with Gunners technical director Edu.

The arrival of Marquinhos will not have any impact on the club’s summer transfer plans, with the likes of Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus, Leicester midfielder Youri Tielemans and Bologna defender Aaron Hickey also being targeted.
