LMI holds a position on a $10 billion Defense Health Agency contract vehicle intended to address medical research and development requirements in the U.S. military.

The nonprofit consulting firm said Friday it will pursue work in all four market segments under DHA’s Omnibus IV indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract.

Fifty-five other companies won spots on the procurement vehicle announced by the Department of Defense on May 16 (click here for a full list of awardees).

“Through assisting the DHA in addressing the complexities of medical research and development and translation science, we help improve the government’s understanding of infectious disease, genomics, emerging technology and many other scientific fields,” said Doug Wagoner, president and CEO of LMI and a three-time Wash100 winner.

Karen LeDoux, director of LMI’s military health and Veterans Affairs submarket, said the company will apply its medical and biotechnological experience and assemble a team of professionals to support the agency mission.
