Leaders say Arizona will emerge as technology center thanks to Chips bill

PHOENIX — Arizona leaders say the Grand Canyon State is just one of a handful of states that is poised to substantially reward from the Chips and Science Act, which on Wednesday gained ultimate U.S. Senate acceptance.

The bipartisan bill, which is made up of billions in government incentives for semiconductor producing and investigation, was designed to raise domestic manufacturing and contend with countries that at present make most of the world’s offer of chips.
