Ed Tech Digest | Larry Ferlazzo’s Websites of the Day…

Ten years ago, in another somewhat futile attempt to reduce the backlog of resources I want to share, I began this occasional “Ed Tech Digest” post where I share three or four links I think are particularly useful and related to…ed tech, including some Web 2.0 apps.

How to Quickly Create and Share Narrated Presentations is from Richard Byrne. I’m adding it to The Best Ways To Create Online Slideshows.

Spardle is a Wordle-like game you can play with classmates in a virtual room. I’m adding it to The Best Online Games Students Can Play In Private Virtual “Rooms” and to THE BEST RESOURCES FOR USING WORDLE IN THE CLASSROOM.

Brainpop has recently added something they call “Pause Points” to some, though not all, of their movies.  They seem to basically be questions that can pop up while students are watching the videos that they have to answer.  In other words, they can turn them into EdPuzzle-like videos.  I think it’s a good move – this way, students don’t have to wait until the end to answer questions from the quizzes.  You can read more at Say Hello to Pause Points, a New Way to Experience BrainPOP Movies.
